Our Green Skills Bootcamp – Internal & External Insulation will arm you with Level 1 and Level 2 certifications covering the health and safety, construction and the sustainability knowledge needed to get started on a career path within the industry. All learners who successfully complete the training element will have the opportunity to undertake work experience with one of our employers as part of the programme.
The course is a 4-week training programme followed by 2 weeks Practical Training/ Work Experience opportunities and 2 weeks ad-hoc Wrap-around Employability Support.
The formal training is completed within 6 weeks, then the final 2 weeks is available for anyone needing a bit of extra support prior to entering the workforce.
On this Course, successful candidates will achieve:
- Level 2 Understanding Domestic Retrofit
- Level 1 Health and Safety
- CSCS Health & Safety Environment (Green Card)
- Environmental Awareness in Construction Industry
- Level 2 Removal of Non-Hazardous waste (Blue Non-skilled worker card)
- Up to 2-weeks’ on-site experience with a local employer
- Bespoke career advice and support
- Interview with recruiting employers
Eligibility
- Learners must have lived in the UK for 3+ years
- Learners must be aged 19+ as of 31st Aug 2024.

- Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving/Provisional License, Citizens Card)
- National Insurance number
- Proof of universal credit/earnings below £17,000 per annum
- Proof of Address
