Job description:

Responsibilities

  • Support bricklayers and other construction professionals by performing a variety of tasks, passing tools, bricks and other materials as well as providing assistance lifting and positioning heavy materials.
  • Mixing Mortar (where Silo mortar is unavailable)- Assist in mixing mortar ensuring consistency and quality as per job requirements.
  • Site preparation- Prepare and clear construction sites, set up Safestand and ensure tools and equipment are organised and accessible for bricklayers.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance - Maintain a tidy work environment by cleaning work areas, removing debris, and ensuring the site is safe for all workers. This includes ensuring that tools and equipment are regularly cleaned and maintained.
  • Health and Safety Compliance - Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, hard hats, safety boots, and high-visibility clothing.
