The core function of the Site Manager is the effective management of all aspects of the site (or part of the site to which they are assigned). This will include, but not be limited to, the effective management and supervision of all subcontractors, materials, deliveries, direct and indirectly engaged operatives, plant and co-ordination therein to ensure projects are delivered to budget, quality standards and within the budgeted and contracted time frames

  • Provide accurate Weekly Update Report
  • Daily site diaries
  • H & S Inductions,Method, Risk & COSSH assessments as required
  • Weekly Update Report
  • AI/RFI/CVI
  • toolbox talks as necessary
  • Weekly scaffold, plant and lifting equipment inspections
  • Materials logs and all other records as required.
  • Weekly Health and Safety Reports
  • Hire and monitoring of Plant, equipment etc., its safe operation, (checking driver training certification) timely return, protection and security.
  • Have input to, monitor and take ownership of contract and target programmes.
  • Report against programme progress
  • Plan and manage Quality and compliance, Ensure that items of work are per-snagged prior to client inspections; ensure each element of work has signed handover form.
  • Plan and manage site strategy for Hazard Awareness and Risk Assessment to ensure compliance with Breyer Group Plc Safety Policy, directives and instructions.
  • Forward Plan all works ensuring information, materials and sub-contractors are available.
  • Receive, review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Ensure all works are carried out to pre-issued Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Checking sub-contractors works orders, ensuring works are carried out as per order
  • Report on supply chain performance.
  • Manage PPE compliance and issue including I.D. procedures.
  • Plan and manage statutory mandatory and informational signage including Breyer Group Plc standard noticeboard.
  • Commit to undertaking necessary external and internal training courses.
  • Promote company image/brand including wearing appropriate dress, uniform, I.D, PPE.
  • Attend meetings, pre start,progress, sub-contractor
  • Plan and manage subcontractor competence compliance including checking certification,
  • Check and monitor compliance with agreed specifications.
  • Report and record complaints and queries and plan for closure/solutions.
  • Comply with Breyer Group Plc Quality and Business Procedures Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with Construction Phase Health & Safety plan and assist in its development and subsequent gathering of information for Operations and Maintenance Manuals and Health & Safety file.
  • Plan Fire Strategy for site including permit to work systems.
  • Maintain office files in accordance with Breyer Group Plc standard filing structure.
  • Provide mentoring support to trainees, work experience personnel, apprentices etc.
  • Be responsible for company vehicles, property and equipment..
  • Contributing to self-development in consultation with line manager.  
  • Ensuring all activity is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Business Procedures and Quality Assurance Procedures –recommending improvements as appropriate;
  • Ensuring all day-to-day activities comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy and best practice;
  • Similarly to comply with the Company’s Environmental Standards
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out within Company Policies and Procedures
  • Adhering to Breyer’s Core Values at all times.
  • Carrying out any other duties as may be necessary from time to time to meet business needs.
