In response to the ongoing employment challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, Elevate has launched an innovative initiative called 'Elevate for All'. With a mission to promote diversity and inclusion in the workforce, the initiative focuses on supporting disabled job seekers specifically in the engineering and green skills sectors,two fields that are rapidly growing in importance.

Addressing a Critical Gap in Employment

People with disabilities continue to experience significantly lower employment rates compared to the broader population, with a gap of around 30%. Recognizing this disparity, Elevate is taking action with'Elevate for All'. The initiative is designed not only to assist job seekers in overcoming barriers to employment but also to encourage companies within the sector to embrace more diverse hiring practices. Elevate believes that creating inclusive work environments is essential for the future of both the workforce and sustainable industries.

Personalized Support for Job Seekers

Through 'Elevate for All', Elevate offers one-on-one,tailored support to disabled job seekers. This includes assistance with creating compelling CVs, conducting mock interviews, and providing specialized insights into the green and engineering sectors. To ensure accessibility, all sessions are conducted remotely via video conferencing, eliminating any physical barriers to participation.

Focusing on Green Skills and Engineering

'Elevate for All' places a strong emphasis on green skills and engineering, two sectors that are integral to the shift towards a more sustainable economy. The initiative is open to job seekers with or without a STEM background. Elevate will guide participants in identifying transferable soft skills and will introduce them to the variety of green jobs currently available. By aligning individual strengths with the needs of the green sector,the program ensures that job seekers are well-prepared for the evolving job market.
