Description
- Physical tasks including planting, pruning, and machinery use.
- Work with soil, organic matter, fertilizers, and sharp tools.
- It is advisable that your tetanus vaccinations are up-to-date.
- A strong grasp of mathematics is desirable.
- Safety boots and gloves will be provided.
- Bring comfortable warm clothing and a passion for working outdoors.
- A daily bursary is available to cover travel and lunch allowances.
What You’ll Learn
- Maintain plants and species, including safe pesticide use.
- Operate tools like strimmers and powered horticultural machinery.
- On-site health & safety skills, including obtaining a CSCS card.
- Gain insights on climate change and sustainable practices.
- 6 accredited qualifications, recognized in grounds maintenance and landscaping sectors.
Eligibility
- Must live in a London borough.
- Not in work, training, or education (NEET).
- Aged 18+ with proof of right to work in the UK.
