Description

We are seeking skilled and qualified Solar Electricians to install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial properties. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of solar systems while contributing to the growth of renewable energy solutions. The position also involves general electrical work and maintenance.

  • Solar PV System Installation – Install and commission solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and wiring, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintenance and Repairs – Diagnose and resolve issues in solar systems, performing preventive maintenance to optimize efficiency and longevity.
  • Electrical Work – Carry out all associated electrical tasks, including grid connections and safe electrical integration.System Testing – Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal energy generation and storage.
  • Customer Support – Provide clear guidance on system operation and maintenance, addressing customer queries professionally.
  • Compliance and Safety – Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company standards during installations and maintenance.
  • Documentation – Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer feedback for reporting and future reference.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, site coordinators, and team members to ensure timely and high-quality installations.

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Experience with solar PV systems (installation and maintenance).
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable

  • C&G 2399 or equivalent solar PV qualification.
  • Working at Heights and Manual Handling certifications.
  • Experience with battery storage systems.
