Summer Internship - Building Surveyor
As part of our Building Surveying community, you will survey a variety of commercial and residential buildings whist also getting involved in refurbishment projects and professional work such as dilapidation claims. Our work varies and covers commissions of all scales across all sectors.

The Role
Our Intern & Placement programme is designed to give you a hands-on insight into the work we do as a company and help to develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training, the programme is based on Arcadis’ core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop both personally and professionally whilst with us. You will be exposed to real projects and clients and given a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of your 10–12-week internship or 12 month placement.
As part of our Building Surveying community, you will survey a variety of commercial and residential buildings whist also getting involved in refurbishment projects and professional work such as dilapidation claims. Our work varies and covers commissions of all scales across all sectors. This is an opportunity for you to grow your skills and ability in advising on the condition of buildings and ways to improve them. The work will involve site visits and inspections as well as report writing.
- Accepted Degrees: BSc or MSc Building Surveying
Requirements
- You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
